Shane’s 1st Birthday Celebration

What an eventful weekend spent with my family and friends. One birthday party on sat and baby shower on Sunday.

Saturday was Shane's first birthday celebration and it was a blast! Currently, I'm still feeling pretty tired with all the party especially when I need to keep looking out for my son and carry him during the party to take photos.

We are all dressed in denim! It was unplanned and I haven decided on what to wear actually and just nice, I happened to see a return denim dress in my size and I decided to keep it and wear it for the party so that i can have matching outfits with my son.

The party was held at Cravings cafe located at tebing lane (Punggol) which last for 4 hours from 12pm to 4pm.

Managed to make him sleep at 10.45am for his morning nap so that he will not fuss too much later.

Woke up at 11.30am and my helper help to change to his birthday outfit and off we go to the party. It was just a 10 mins drive to the place. The reason why we chose this place is due to the location since most of our friends and relatives stay at punggol or Sengkang. So it was pretty convenient for everyone.

Took a family pic with my son first before the guests arrived. I'm not too sure whether he knows that we are celebrating his birthday when we arrived. 😆

There's a tv screen in the cafe and I can screen Shane's photos using a thumb drive. Spent the night before sorting out the photos from iphone and to my disappointment, the photos cannot screen on the tv cos I was told that the photos are took using an iphone and hence it cannot be screen?

Cynthia told me this problem has occured before and I was like how come I was not informed in the first place since you are aware of this problem.

I was kinda pissed off actually during that time cos the guests are arriving soon and I couldn't screen the photos.

Thankfully, my brother in law managed to think of a method by using his Samsung thumb drive and I need to send all the photos from my phone to my sis's phone and connect my sis phone to the thumb drive and to the tv.

IT WORKS!! 😅

The dessert table costs about $548. This price does not include the cake. As for the cake, it was customised with red velvet flavour and covered with cream cost $180. Wanted to go for fondant but it will cost $250 and Cynthia advised me to go for cream cos usually guests will remove the fondant.

Shane had a happy time unwrapping the presents yesterday!

Now, we are looking forward to his actual bday on Thursday! I have alr decided where to bring him on that day and I'm gonna dress him up again!

It's gonna be a tiring Thursday but I'm sure we gonna enjoy the time spent together on a weekday 🙂

What I bought on valentine day!

Finally managed to get this pair of shoes in black! Can't decide between the white and black and ended up stick to black since I need a pair of black flats! This will do.

Walked around Orchard and decided to settle our Vday dinner at Marriott cafe and we are having a buffet dinner!

Managed to get a table which is the last table available and yay, we are pretty lucky ah!

Complimentary rose from them and thanks to the staff who took a picture for us! If only the man is not behind us, this picture would be perfect 😂

The desserts are so good too especially the sticky date pudding!

Towards the end of the dinner, the staff came over to our table and gave me this complimentary soft bear cos we are the first 50 customers to book the reservation.

My first thought is I can give this bear to my little Shane!! Haha 😂

Thank you hubby for the wonderful dinner and now we are rushing back to my mil's place to fetch my son back home!

Looking like a big boy now! Check out his new hair cut cos it's his big day this Saturday!

Not in his best mood today cos he got a slight cough and running nose today. Thinking to bring him to PD tomorrow.
