Goodbye 2015!

Happy new year 2016 everyone!!

Finally reached home and I'm gonna spend some time to draft my 2015 summary before 2016 is here!

It was a good 2015 and it just passed by in a flash. Really fast.

Sometime in April'15, we did our very first overseas photoshoot in Hong Kong and it was a success one! All thanks to Gabriel who happens to be there in HK and help us with the shoot.

We didn't had any casting before that as I was in China for a work trip and HK is just a stopover for us to do a shoot and 1 day shopping. We opted for a Hong Kong model and I didn't expect that she is really petite in real life plus the model is really not good in posing. 😦

Thankfully, the photos turn out not too bad. I started to cast every model ever since then!

Full fledge #madebytsw labels for year 2015

Managed to come up with more than 150 manufactured designs for year 2015 which I have been wanted to achieve this year. I'm so Glad I did it, it's really tough cos I didn't get to travel to China for work trips since June onwards. I'm so thankful as my manufacturers have been so understanding and trying their best to source for really pretty prints at the fabric market! Also, a new size XL was introduced and gained more happy customers! 😊

SME of the year 2015

One of the milestone got to be nominated for the SME of the year award! It was a memorable gala dinner held at MBS! 🙂

My baby boy!

Sometime in June/July, I'm blessed with a baby boy and this has got to be my highlight for year 2015!

My hubby and I were so happy, even now and we are so looking forward to 2016 cos we can't wait to see our little one in February! Teehee 😁

Shifted to a bigger office

In August, we shifted to a new office at YCK as we needed a bigger space and I'm so thankful that the whole renovation goes smoothly with the help of my hubby as I couldn't be there when I'm pregnant.

Our first office warming party was a success one as well and thank you so much to the kind sponsors! Every customers left happily on that day and it was such a relieve! 🤗

Also, finally started our office showroom this year after the office warming party. Actually, the showroom was supposed to be started in 2014 but due to the space constraints, we didn't announced it officially. So yay, we managed to do it this year and customers can just drop by to try the clothes and purchase it after trying 😬

This 2016, I'm looking forward to create more wonderful memories with my little boy and my hubby! I'm also gonna learn to be a good Mother and giving him the best that I can!

Celebrating my last twenties birthday today. Dunno to be happy or not. Cos I'm hitting the big 3 next year. Gosh!! So old. Woke up this morning and receive lotsa of birthday wishes via FB and WhatsApp! Thank you 💋

I think this is the first time I'm celebrating my bday without a cake! 😭😭😭

I can't imagine if I actually had a slice of cake, I'm sure the glucose level will go up! 🤔

No sweet stuff for me and I will spam myself with more veggies and fish instead. 😂

Today is the 3rd day of the glucose test and so far my hubby have pricked my finger 15 times for the glucose test. He can't bear to prick and he can feel the pain that I'm going through. So thankful to have his encouragement and I will endure for the sake of bb and my hubby.

18 more pricks till this Sunday. 😖

This year birthday is a really special one for me cos I'm celebrating with my little one inside me. Hehe

And next year onwards, I will have an additional member in my family, celebrating my hubby's birthday too in Feb!

This year birthday wish, all I want is to have a healthy baby, smooth pregnancy and a happy family! Just a very simple wish that all mummies out there would wish for.

Time flies, it's just 10 more days to Christmas! Omgggg

And it will be new year celebration 2016 follow by CNY and the most anticipating one, my EDD! So fast, I can't catch up with the time already.

I have been feeling very down this week. Partially is becos I'm sick since Monday, down with sore throat, flu and cough during pregnancy is so uncomfortable.

Until today, I still have a lot of phlegm and blocked nose ;(

Just Wednesday, I have an appt with my gynae and I told him I'm sick and he prescribed with some medicine which cost a bomb 😔

I received a bad news from the gynae on that day unfortunately. I have gestational diabetics. 😢

Didn't know what's this until the gynae explained to me. Gestational diabetics is the type of dietetics that only occurred during pregnancy and it usually goes off after birth.

I was so worried about my baby and I know that I have to control my sugar level from that day onwards. Only healthy meals from now on.

I was feeling so down after hearing this and the next day I went to do the OGTT test.

This test measures the body's ability to use a type of sugar, called glucose, that is the body's main source of energy. It's used to check for diabetics.

So, I was told to drink a bottle of very sweet glucose drink and 1 hour later, they tested the level of sugar. It exceeded the normal range though 😦

I was then refer to see endriconologist, a diabetic doctor yesterday. The consultation cost about $125 for 15 mins, Super expensive.

I need to record my glucose level by using this device which I just purchased it from Guardian, starting from today. 7 days later, I need to show the doc the records for the past 7 days, ensuring that it falls below the range.

This device comes with a small needle that I need to prick my fingers every 2 hours after my breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as before breakfast. A total of 4 times pricking per day. 😢

No more sweet stuffs for me before I pop, which includes ice cream, cakes, soft drinks, fruit juices and a lot more. Sigh pie!

I can't had any fast food, fried food and oily stuff. Sometimes, I just dunno what to eat and I'm afraid the sugar level will go up again. I'm not too sure whether fruits are considered sweet, need to try pricking my finger later after I consume them.

Please let these 7 days test be a smooth one, less than the range and I don't have to inject insulin. 🙏🏻

Sick 🙅

What a bad Monday! :((

Fall sick since yesterday night and I had a very bad sore throat. It's really pain whenever I try to swallow down. Sigh

And today I woke up with a bad flu. Keep sneezing non-stop. Sian damn sian 😦

I personally feel that it's more Xin ku to fall sick when I'm pregnant.

I need to use more force from my stomach when I sneeze. So uncomfortable. Urghh

Please let me recover soon!

Feeling rather refreshed today cos I slept slightly more than my usual days. I dunno why I just feel so tired this morning.

Anyway, I got to attend my ex-colleague's wedding today! Meaning I will get to see my ex-colleagues and boss! Haha it's been so Long since I last met them. I'm kind of looking forward to it! 🙂
