It's going to be a busy Saturday cos my poly friends are coming over to my place for steamboat!

It's my 4th time steamboat at my place and I think this is the last steamboat for the lunar new year!

It's their first time visiting my new place and I'm so excited! Haha

Made yogurt oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries for dinner.

I'm going to start to eat clean, eat more vegetables and fruits. I can do it!! 💪💪💪

Birthday Staycation (Equarius Hotel)

👋👋 7.30pm // On my way home finally from Vivo! It's a long journey back and I thought I should make use of the time to pen down on the birthday Staycation I have specially planned for my love's 31st birthday!

The staycation was really awesome, relax and most importantly my hus enjoyed every minute there 😁

Yeah effort paid off! Spend one night on Tuesday, doing research on which hotel to stayover and after reading all the reviews, I chose Equarius hotel over Quincy hotel.

Caught this beautiful view while on the way to sentosa! We went to Vivo toastbox first to grab a quick breakfast.

We reached at 12pm and decided to try our luck and see if we can check in earlier and yes we managed to check in at 12pm! Woohoo, guess it's a Thursday so we can check in earlier.

The room is really spacious and my hus love room that comes with a balcony so the stay is really perfect over there. Spot the toilet, it's an open concept style.

And this is the balcony and the view that greeted us is the adventure cove! Such a nice view right?

Oh ya, the toilet is super spacious and there's a bathtub as well. The good thing is there's a tv and you can actually watch tv at the same time. Damn awesome right but I couldn't enjoy it cos my 大姨妈 just had to come visit me on the first day of my staycation. I knew it early in the morning and I'm super sian about it 😩😩😩 why this day? 👊

Changed and we went to the gym first for some workout and there's no one in the gym. Damn shiok!

Picked this maxi dress for dinner and I think it's perfect for a staycation or holiday!

The stocks arrived sometime before CNY and I can't wait to wear it out when the stocks arrived. Specially reserve this dress for this day and finally I can get to wear it out!

It's an upcoming maxi dress from #thestagewalk! Comes in 3 prints and I swear all the 3 prints are equally gorgeous and pretty. I think I might keep all 3 prints since I do not have many maxi in my wardrobe! 😬

The good thing is it comes with two side slits for a more flowy feel. We made the side slits not too high so that it's not too short when you sit down. 👌

Thank you Equarius Hotel for the awesome birthday staycation and I'm so glad I chose this hotel in the end. Also took this chance to have a good break before work started to commence next Monday.

Went for a movie date with my man again and this time round we caught ah boys to men, frogmen!

This whole movie lasted for 2 hours plus, sit until my butt no feeling already 😸

The movie was so good and I love it! Go catch it if you haven. Totally worth the time and price! ✌️

Woke up early this morning to prepare for the afternoon steamboat at 1pm!

First time, I cook rice for 8pax haha so I hope it's not failed. 🙏

Now gonna wait for them to arrive! Shld I prepare the soup base first? Hmmmm

Finally done with 2 rounds of steamboat and finally I can rest for the night. Didn't expect the group to bring along Lou Hei and birthday cake for my hus cos his birthday is coming up in 6 days time.

Speaking of this, I haven decide where to bring him for celebration. Hmmm planning to go overseas but my passport renewal is still not approve yet and so I need to resubmit again 😩

Woke up at 4plus in the noon and hurriedly prepared myself and headed down to my hubby's relative place for dinner. Usually, 初二 we only went visiting at one place and the gambling will start all the way till the night.

I'm so tired today! All becos of yesterday grocery shopping madness at ntuc nex! We headed down around at 8pm and the crowd was madness! Really madness.

This year annual reunion steamboat will be at my new place and so I will be preparing all the food for steamboat later!

To my horror, all the corns, lime, crabsticks, dancing chef suki sauce for steamboat, cabbages etc 全部都扫完！😱

It's really 夸张 haha and thanks god I bought two spare ones last 2 weeks for the suki sauce. Heng ah!

Thanks god my mil bought the fish and prawns for us! We also headed down to wet market to get corns but all are sold out. Thankfully I managed to get it this morning. I woke up at 7am k just to go to the market 😄

I'm finally done with the preparing of steamboat. Also changed the bed sheets, it's a pain to change the bed sheets!

Can't wait to start the steamboat prepared by me ✌️

Steamboat feast earlier on and I'm feeling so bloated now. We are still left with so much food, thankfully we have 3 more steamboat sessions coming up! We bought extra food cos our friends will be dropping by our place for steamboat session this 初三！

Just done sweeping the floor before 12am, and my whole house is so clean now.

Gonna start packing the hongbaos to distribute tomorrow. Our second year giving out hongbaos! Hohoho!

Yeah today is the last day of work! Apparently it's only 3 hours today for spring cleaning in the office!!

It's so awesome that no words can describe my happy feeling now! Woohoo!

Our office will be closed from tomorrow to 3rd of march. Self collection and mailing will resume by then!😬

My CNY break officially start now and I'm on my way to town for some last min shopping and I'm gonna buy grocery for steamboat in the evening! I hope there's still prawns and fish by then 🙏🙏🙏

It's a stay home Valentine day for me cos we just want to avoid the crowd outside, furthermore it's the last weekend to shop for CNY outfits so we concluded it will be more crowded! Imagine the traffic jam, finding carpark space, queuing etc. Simply waste of time. 😹😹😹

Yesterday, we went down to Vivo in the evening after work and it was so hard to find just one parking lot. Some cars even parked at the illegal areas.

Yesterday's night choco fondue which is so good! I literally finished up the chocolate yummmmmmy

Totally worth the calories! I don't mind to have this everyday.

Shopped around Vivo and I bought a blazer from Zara for my hubby. ✌️

This morning I spent some time doing spring cleaning for my house. The standard routine goes again. Vacuum the floor, mop the floor, wash toilet bowls, wash clothes and hang the clothes to dry and also fold clothes nicely back to the wardrobe. Plus steaming the clothes as well! Just these it can take me like 2-3 hours! So tired!!!

Anyway, I'm so happy that we are done with our CNY launches! The last launch was on wed and I can feel that the CNY break is nearing! Woohooooo

There's no launch tomorrow, feel so weird about it but it's a good thing ya. It's time to start planning for reunion dinners, what to wear for CNY day 1 to 3 and catching up on my dramas!

On a side note, I'm pretty sad that I have gained weight recently and I'm trying my best to eat less and healthily but it's so hard to resist good food especially when CNY is reaching. 😭😥😢😖

Spent my Saturday noon doing housework, which include mopping floor, vacuum the floor, clean toilet bowls and fans. Time passed pretty fast when you are doing housework.

Wearing an upcoming dress last few days and it's named Rainbow Sparks Swing Dress! It's the same print as our previously launched cold shoulder top and we made it into a sleeveless shift dress version 🙂

For those who previously own the happy colours dress, it's about the same cutting just that we change the prints 😬

I have a soft spot for anything flare so that it will not emphasize the tummy much and the fabric used is so smooth as well. Comes with inner lining 😉
